Our vision
and mission
Our goal is to support people to connect with the true essential nature and to live in tune with the inner being and heart. We offer authentic yoga classes, meditation sessions and trainings, while striving towards sustainable living.

Vision of Amaratva Yoga
Amaratva Yoga is our yoga school. We offer authentic Integral yoga and meditation retreats/courses for transformation, inner discovery, and connection with the Essence of Being.

Our practice is grounded in what we truly live. We honor the body as a sacred vehicle for awakening, not an end in itself. Through yoga, we cultivate vitality, clarity, and strength, while cultivating the stillness of mind that reveals our true nature.

Drawing from Hridaya, Bihar School of Yoga (traditional Hatha), Iyengar, and Vinyasa traditions, our approach unites transcendence with integration — spirit with matter, heaven with earth. Our vision is to make yoga accessible and deeply transformative, helping each person embody consciousness in daily life.

Our retreats are mostly located in the mountains of Southern Spain at Ananda Forest, our sustainable yoga center.

Vision of Ananda Forest
Ananda Forest is a yoga and meditation retreat center nestled in the mountains of Southern Spain. From April to October, we host a variety of retreats — including our own yoga retreats, courses, and teacher trainings — as well as offering our space to other facilitators who share our vision of transformation and inner growth.

Ananda Forest is a place to come home to your true nature, to reconnect with the wisdom of the Heart, and to live the Yogic path in daily life. Rooted in the teachings of Yoga, we also draw deep inspiration from permaculture and agroforestry, cultivating a way of living that honors both Earth and Spirit.

We believe that Matter and Consciousness are inseparable — that caring for the Earth is caring for ourselves. Nurturing the soil is nurturing our body; protecting the rivers is tending to our lifeblood; connecting with fire is awakening the inner flame. In a world that often forgets its wholeness, we dedicate Ananda Forest to the living reality of Unity.
Our doors are open to people of all backgrounds, traditions, and walks of life — united by respect and a sincere wish to grow.

The medicine we offer is simple, yet profound: immersion in nature’s rhythm, the daily practice of yoga and meditation, nourishing food, uplifting community, and teachings that awaken the heart and mind.
Our pillars
Yoga and meditation
Practicing yoga and meditation is a powerful tool to realign ourselves with our center and expand our energy levels. The actions that result from a place of centeredness will naturally embody our virtues, and empower ourselves to drop whatever doesn’t serve. The more we feel centered, the less need we have to compensate for our search for happiness through consuming or buying unhealthy and unsustainable substances. Our yoga classes are based on many years of experience, passion and embodiment. Our classes are rooted in traditional Hatha yoga, and integrate several styles mixed with the intuition to adapt to the needs of various groups and indiviudals. We call it Integral Hatha yoga.

Living from the heart
We aspire to make the Heart our guide. Inside our heart, we all have an inner compass (ion), an inner knowing beyond rational knowledge, and the ability to naturally connect to what is True. The Heart is as well the bridge to go beyond our personality, roles and masks, into the Essence of live. Staying with the vibration of Beingness in the heart, frees us from all anxieties and conflict rooted in duality.
Permaculture and natural lifestyle
One of our greatest earthly joys is to see the Earth become more fertile, the trees grow, and to eat the fruits of the land. We work towards creating a food forest that can sustain us and those who visit, and find inspiration in the principles and techniques of Permaculture. Besides our human needs, we find joy in making Ananda Forest an oasis for countless birds, animals and beneficial micro-organisms. What we cannot grow ourselves, we try to buy from local producers.

Community living
In Ananda forest, we choose to return to community based living, while creating spaces of privacy and independence. Community living and fostering truthful relations is part of our inner growth and mirrors us back both our light and shadow. The project is initiated by our family (Floris,Paulina and Amba), but is welcoming people from all backgrounds that resonate with our vision to participate as a volunteer, short- or long term community member, or student in a course.
